Artisan Epoxy Flooring of Pleasanton, pleasantonepoxyflooringandconcretepolishing.com, hello@pleasantonepoxyflooringandconcretepolishing.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Artisan Epoxy Flooring of Pleasanton website and any work you hire us to do. By using the site, asking for an estimate or scheduling a job, you agree to them, so if you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.

When we say "we," "us" or "our," we mean Artisan Epoxy Flooring of Pleasanton. "You" means the person using the site or hiring us for work.

What we do

We're a flooring contractor in Pleasanton, CA, and we install, repair and refinish concrete floors and floor coatings for homes and businesses in Pleasanton and the cities around it. The services described on our home page and service pages show our usual work, and the exact scope of your job is set by your written estimate or contract.

Everything on this site is general information. Photos, descriptions and typical timelines show past and usual work, not a promise about how your floor will look or how long your job will take, because every slab is different.

Estimates and pricing

Our quotes are free and given on site, and asking for one doesn't obligate you to anything. A quote is based on what we can see and test during the visit, such as the size of the area, the condition of the concrete, moisture, any old coating and the system you choose.

Once we start grinding, we sometimes find problems that weren't visible before, like deeper cracks, moisture or an old coating that won't come up cleanly. If that changes the work or the price, we'll explain it and get your written approval before we do the extra work.

A quote is good for the period written on it. After that, material and labor costs may have changed, so we may need to update the price.

Scheduling and cancellation

We set your start date together once you approve the quote. Weather, temperature, humidity, slab moisture and material delays can move that date, because coatings need the right conditions to bond and cure, and we'll tell you as soon as we know about a change.

You're responsible for giving our crew access to the work area on the scheduled day, cleared of vehicles, furniture and stored items unless your contract says we'll move them. If we arrive and can't start because the area isn't ready, we may need to reschedule and may charge for the trip as your contract states.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (925) 209-2459 as early as you can. Your contract sets out any cancellation terms, including charges for materials already ordered for your job, and you keep any right to cancel that California law gives you.

Payment terms

Payment amounts, any deposit and due dates are written into your contract. Unless the contract says otherwise, the final balance is due when the work is complete.

We may pause work if a payment is late. Late balances may carry fees or interest as your contract states and the law allows, and you'll be responsible for reasonable collection costs if we have to pursue an unpaid balance.

Warranties and what they don't cover

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee, and any written warranty for your floor will be spelled out in your contract. Coating and material makers set their own product warranties, and we'll pass those along to you.

Warranties don't cover damage from impact, dragging heavy objects, chemicals, standing water, moisture rising through the slab that testing didn't show, new cracks that open in the concrete after our work, normal wear, or not following the care instructions we give you. Coated and polished floors can be slippery when wet, so you're responsible for keeping them dry and using mats or a textured finish where you need extra grip.

Apart from the warranties written into your contract, our work and this website are provided "as is," and to the extent the law allows we disclaim all other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost use of your garage or business, lost income, or damage to items left in the work area. Our total liability for any claim tied to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

We aren't responsible for problems caused by conditions we couldn't reasonably have found, such as hidden defects in the slab, or by work others did before or after us. We also aren't liable for losses from relying on this website in place of a written quote or contract.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that California law doesn't allow us to limit.

If we disagree

If something isn't right, call us first, because most problems get fixed faster by talking them through on site. We'll look at the issue and work with you in good faith to sort it out.

If we still can't settle it, either of us may take the matter to a California court that has jurisdiction, including small claims court when the amount qualifies.

Governing law

These terms, your use of this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page applies from the day it's posted. Your signed contract governs your job, and if the contract and these terms conflict, the contract controls.
