About our Pleasanton flooring contractor business

How I got into floors
Before this business, I ran a small commercial cleaning company, and I spent years on floors that were peeling, staining or wearing through. I learned the coating and concrete side working next to an experienced installer, and in 2021 I started Artisan Epoxy Flooring of Pleasanton. Most of the failures I'd cleaned around came down to what happened before the coating went on, so that's where we spend our time.
Homeowners in Pleasanton and nearby call us for garages, basements and patios, and property managers call when a shop or tenant space needs a new floor. I come out to look at the job myself, and I run the crew that does the work. If you want to see the full range of floors we put down, start on our home page.

What you can expect when we do your floor
Your slab gets tested and prepped first
We test the concrete and grind it to a clean, open surface before any coating goes on, because a floor that starts lifting was usually let down by its prep. It takes more time up front, and it's why our garage and epoxy floors hold up.
The person at your estimate runs your job
I look at your floor, talk through the options and put the price in writing, then I run the crew that installs it, so what we agreed on is what gets done. We also plan the work around how long you can be without the space, whether that's your garage or a working shop floor.
A straight answer on the first visit
I'll tell you which system fits your floor and why, even when it's the cheaper one, and if a floor isn't a good fit for what you want, you'll hear that before you spend anything. If you'd rather start with a question, send it through our contact page.
Licensed for the work we do
Serving Pleasanton and 11 surrounding cities
Licensed and fully insured.
In California, the state contractors board requires a license for work on a building when the job needs a building permit, uses any hired workers, or costs $1,000 or more in labor and materials, so ask any floor contractor for theirs before you sign. Whether a job needs a permit is up to your city or county office, so we check with them before we start, and if one is needed we take care of getting it.
